Young women are entering the dating world at a time when technology has dramatically changed how relationships begin and develop.

Dating apps provide access to more potential partners than ever before, while social media, changing expectations around relationships and greater personal choice can make it difficult to know what to look for in a partner or what a healthy long-term relationship should look like.

Two ways to bring this to your students

Option 1

An Engaging Presentation

30 min + 10 min Q&A

Using engaging visuals, relatable examples and evidence-informed research, this presentation explores the foundations of healthy relationships, including compatibility, communication, trust, emotional intimacy, boundaries and shared values.

Students learn why having more choice does not necessarily make relationship decisions easier, and why understanding themselves is an important part of choosing a partner wisely.

Students leave with a clearer understanding that healthy relationships are built through more than attraction or chemistry — they require self-awareness, emotional maturity and communication skills.

Option 2

Interactive Tutorial & Discussion

60–120 min

Students participate in an interactive workshop designed to help them explore what they want from relationships and develop the skills required to build healthy connections.

Rather than providing a formula for finding the "right" partner, the workshop encourages students to understand themselves and develop the skills required to recognise and build healthy relationships.

Students explore communication, emotional vulnerability, boundaries, conflict and trust while clarifying the qualities and values they want in a future partner.
